Faking Photos

The first three days at Silver Star (and Sovereign Lakes) gave me 11.5 hours and one solid intensity session on Thursday morning. Today was active recovery and I was more than ready for it. Marshall and I did a little easy skiing and took some “race photos” for JD and others to use.
I’ve been a bit sloppy with the camera work this trip. Day one is when it should have come out – there was something pretty nice about the full moon rising over the mountains, but it probably wouldn’t have come out very well anyways. Since then it’s been a bit overcast, which has saved the snow from the abusive sun, but also trapped in some warmer air. They’re gone now though. It is clear and cold tonight. Tomorrow could be rocket fast, and if we’re lucky this forecast will come true and we’ll have clean powder tracks on Sunday. Just in time for a little race practice.
